The Council is responsible for the financial runnings of the Church; they can be considered the
"governing body" of the Church.  They meet once a month to discuss finances and reports from
the Pastor and other Committees, as well as hear from members of the congregation.

The Parish Life Committee is responsible for services to the congregation.  This includes
coordinating Sunday School, planning and preparing for worship services, and running
stewardship campaigns.

The Mission and Outreach Committee seeks to involve the congregation in serving our neighbors
and spreading the gospel through social ministry projects, evangelism, and fellowship
opportunities.

The Mutual Ministry Committee provides an avenue for strengthening of the relationship between
the  Pastor and the Congregation.  Issues that the Congregation has with the Pastor, the Pastor
has with the Congregation, or a Member has with a Member can be discussed in a healthy
manner so as to come to a fair, healthy solution.

The Property Committee is responsible for the maintenance of the Church and its grounds, as
well as revising service contracts.

The Finance Committee is responsible for paying bills and monitoring the church's investments.

The choir is directed by Noriko Kumada.  Rehearsals are held every week, and anthems are
sung every Sunday.

Trinitys Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, or WELCA, is part of the
Southern Conference of WELCA units, belonging to the New England WELCA Synod,
headquartered in Worcester, MA.

Our purpose is stated as follows:
As a community of women
Created in the image of God,
Called to discipleship in Jesus Christ, and
Empowered by the Holy Spirit,
We commit ourselves to
Grow in faith,
Affirm our gifts,
Support one another in our callings,
Engage in ministry and action, and
Promote healing and wholeness in the church, the society, and the world.

WELCA is open to all women and friends of Trinity, and we look forward to growing our
attendance. All of us enjoy belonging to WELCA where we can share our faith, support each
other, and carry the message of Gods love to near and far.
